In addition, we guarantee the best rate available.
No Hidden Fees
Most online travel sites charge an extra fee for booking online, sometimes as much as 30 percent. The Acadia Inn doesn’t do this, ensuring you get the best rate.

BEST RATE GUARANTEE DETAILS (the fine print):
Our Best Rate Guarantee is simple: If you book directly with us and find a lower rate on another booking channel within 24 hours of booking your reservation, we’ll match the rate.
Your reservation must be booked direct through www.acadiainn.com or via a direct phone call to 207-288-3500. If within 24 hours of booking your reservation you find a better rate on another booking channel, contact our office at 207-288-3500 or email@example.com with your confirmation number, name, the rate you paid, a link to the web site on which the lower rate was found, and the amount of the lower rate. Upon verification, we’ll match the rate.
Our Best Rate Guarantee does not apply to the following rates:
Group or contracted rates
Any site that requires a login and password or on a foreign independent traveler (FIT) site
Any membership-based site (AAA, AARP)
A mobile applicationRates that are available on auction sites or “opaque” sites that do not disclose the actual hotel
When a claim covers multiple nights, rates will be compared for each separate night. Comparison must be for the same dates, room type and number of guests
Bar Harbor Hotel Rates & Reservations at the Acadia Inn
Rates at the Acadia Inn are based on single or double occupancy and apply to one king or two queen bedrooms. Experience Bar Harbor with the whole family by staying at the Acadia Inn, minutes away from downtown and Acadia National Park. See below for additional person charges at our hotel.
An advance payment of one night’s lodging is required to confirm all reservations.
Cancellations made with at least 48 hours’ notice receive a refund of deposit less a $20 administrative fee. Cancellations received with less than 48 hours’ notice forfeit the entire deposit. 48 hours notice is by 2 p.m., two days prior to scheduled arrival.
Early Departure/Delayed Arrival/Late Check-outs
If you depart Bar Harbor early, have a delayed arrival, or are late to check out, deposits may be subject to a $20 fee if either arrival date is later or departure date is earlier than confirmed. Late check-out until noon can be arranged through the front desk at the hotel; late check-out between noon and 2 p.m. will incur a $20 fee. Those departing after 2 p.m. will incur a full night’s lodging charge.
