Hop on the Island Explorer shuttle bus, departing within 500 feet of the Acadia Inn driveway, late June through mid October. The Island Explorer is a complimentary shuttle that brings guests to center of downtown Bar Harbor, hang out it town and grab an ice cream or jump on another shuttle to explore Acadia National Park. Join us for a family-friendly movie under the stars! During July and August we offer movies on the lawn twice a week. Guests are invited to our backyard to view a movie on the big screen, and we provide chairs and blankets to keep your family warm and cozy!
